The Gretsch Hammered brass snare drums create a beautifully warm tone that is not to heavy, the cutting sound of metal is still present but is evened out by the dark clarity of the brass. The hammered pattern to the shell naturally reduces overtones and generates a beautifully direct and dynamic sound. The Gretsch Hammered brass snare drums are finished with Die-cast hoops, REMO® drum heads, adjustable throw-offs, and fixed butt plates.
